Contribute Your Quota To Development, Restoration of National Unity – Oyo State Coordinator Charges Corps Members

National Youth Service Corps Oyo State has Sworn-in 1400 Prospective Corps Members who have been mobilized and deployed to the state for the 2021 Batch A stream 2 mandatory one year National Service to their fatherland.

The State Coordinator, Mrs. Grace Ogbuogebe who congratulated the Corps Members for the successful completion of their various academic programs, charged them to see their call to service as a privilege to contribute their quota to the development and restoration of national unity .

The SC implored the corps members to use the opportunity of the service year to learn the culture and traditions of the Yorubas. She tasked them to make discipline their watch word and abide by the rules and regulations guiding the camp. While encouraging them to leave a lasting legacy towards achieving the mandate of the founding fathers of the Scheme she urged them to impact on their host communities by embarking on concrete projects.

The Pace Setter State Coordinator, informed the corps members of adequate security as their welfare is Paramount to the NYSC , She therefore enjoined the corps members to be security conscious and report any noticed lapses during the orientation exercise.
She also encouraged all course participants not to let down their guards and always make adequate use of covid-19 safety facilities located at all strategic locations in the camp.

The State Coordinator expressed her profound gratitude to the Oyo State Governor Engr. Seyi Makinde, Chairman/ Members of NYSC Governing Board and the good people of Oyo State for their commitments and support to the Scheme. Equally, she thanked His Lordship , the Chief Judge of Oyo State Hon.Justice Mukthar Abimbola who in spite of the strike embarked upon by the judiciary was on ground to administer the oath of Allegiance on the 2021 Batch A stream 2 Prospective Corps Members deployed to Oyo State.
