The Honourable Member representing Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Kajola/Iwajowa Constituency of Oyo State, Shina Abiola Peller, has urged leaders and followers alike to always consider the inputs of stakeholders in ensuring community development and national cohesion. Chief Peller, recently coronated as the Ayedero (the one brings Peace) by Alaafin of Oyo, said his idea of politics transcended ethnicity, region and religion.
While speaking at the Leadership and Governance Seminar Course mounted by Upward BAO Consulting at the Lagos Airport Hotel Ikeja on Friday, 8 October, 2021, 45-year old Peller, a Politician, Entrepreneur and Philanthropist, urged emerging leaders to join his Lead Generation Initiative (LGI), which currently has over two million subscribers, many if whom are making practical impact at local levels across the country.
During the Panel session, the CEO of the Upward BAO Consulting, Dr. Tunde Oseni, an Associate Professor of Political Science, pointed out the Leadership and Governance programme had three elements: Strategic Leadership, Governance and Policy Skills and Public Speaking Fundamentals. No fewer than 50 participants were trained for two days. The Director of the company, Mrs. Bidemi Oseni-Babalola presented the Certificates of Award and Completion to the Mentor of the Year Awardee (including Hon. Peller) and participants.
