Olawoyin Becomes Third Provost of Aremo Cathedral

The Very Reverend Samuel Kayode Olawoyin, has resumed as the third provost of the Cathedral of St. Peter, Aremo, Ibadan.

 

The new Provost in his sermon disclosed that his mission for the Cathedral in accordance to Isaiah 61 include preaching the good tidings onto the meek, to bind up the broken hearted, proclaim liberty to the captives and open the prison to them that are bound and take the cathedral to the greater height.

 

A release issued by the Diocesan Communicator of Ibadan North Anglican Diocese, Comrade Solomon Olugbemiga Ayoade, Olugbemiga, quoted the new Provost stating that his appointment will face enormous challenges both financially and spiritually but strongly believe that he would overcome them all by Godā€™s grace.

 

He sought the support of both the clergy and laity in the Cathedral to achieve his desired and set goals as he alone could not do the works in the vine yard.

 

The Lord Bishop of Ibadan North Anglican Diocese, Rt. Reverend (Dr.) Williams Oluwarotimi, and his wife Engineer (Mrs.) Catherine Oluwafunmilayo, were appreciated for deeming it fit to appoint Reverend Olawoyin, as the third Provost of the Cathedral.

 

The new Provost was accompanied to the Cathedral by his lovely wife, Dr. (Mrs.) Lola Olawoyin, Venerable and Mrs. James Ajayi as well as other well wishers.
