Stop Blaming Govt, Public is Corrupt Too – Sabiganna of Iganna

In a stunning revelation, Oba Saliu Azeez, the Sabiganna of Iganna, has accused some members of the public of sabotaging government efforts and exacerbating societal problems.

He made this declaration at the first-year anniversary of the Powerful Women Charitable Organization, a philanthropic club dedicated to supporting the less privileged, held at the NUJ Press Centre, Iyaganku, Ibadan.

Oba Azeez exposed the nefarious activities of self-centered individuals entrusted with distributing federal government palliatives, who instead repackaged and sold them in markets, leaving the vulnerable to suffer. He expressed outrage at the heartlessness of such people, who prioritize personal gain over the well-being of others.

The monarch commended the organization for their kindness and vital role in society, especially during Nigeria’s challenging times. He urged them to continue their good work, emphasizing that leaders and those in power cannot address societal challenges alone.

Oba Azeez also called on the affluent to extend love to the less privileged and implored the government to listen and take action to make Nigeria a better nation. His bold statement highlights the need for collective responsibility in addressing societal challenges and encourages a more collaborative approach to building a better future.
