The much awaited Miss Oyo/Oyo Merit Awards & Good Governance Awards for the 2018 holds on Sunday.
The annual ‘glitz and glamour event’ is packaged by Silverstone Communications owned by Mayor Isaac Brown, a seasoned broadcaster and producer of Queen Nigeria, Gotham City with NTA and currently with Ayefele Fresh FM, Ibadan.

Winners would be decorated at an event scheduled for 30th December, 2018 at Premier Hotel, Ibadan.
The organisers further stated in a press statement as follows “Miss Oyo State Beauty pageant, Oyo State biggest and oldest pageant since 1999. Every First Lady of Oyo State at one time or the other graced the event to crown the winner while in office.
“From Her Excellency Alhaja Sarat Adesina, Alhaja Mutiat Kadoka, Chief Mrs Kemi Alao Akala and Chief Mrs Florence Ajimobi. Winners usually go home with official car and engage in Pet Projects during their reign which are community enhancement driven.
“They also represent Oyo State in Nationally recognized Beauty Pageants.
