Coronation: Ibadan Mogajis, CCII, Baales Hail Adegbola As New Eleruwa

Mogajis in Ibadanland, Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII), Baales, Ibadan Compounds Peace Initiatives (ICPI), and other stakeholders have fecilitated with Oba Samuel Adegbola over his forthcoming coronation as the Eleruwa of Eruwa land. 

 

The stakeholders said the monarchs ascension to the throne marked a significant milestone in the history of Eruwa land, and the Ibadan community is celebrating this momentous occasion.

 

Adegbola is billed to be coronated by Oyo State governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde this Saturday, 28th of June, 2025 in Eruwa, Ibarapa East local government area of Oyo State.

 

A statement by the President of Ibadan Mogajis, Mogaji Asimiyu Ariori and ICPI Coordinator, Mogaji Nurudeen Akinade said Ibadan Mogajis, CCII, and Baales praised Adegbola for his leadership qualities and commitment to the development of Eruwa land.

 

They expressed confidence that the monarch will build on the legacy of his predecessors and take Eruwa land to greater heights.

 

“One thing that is very critical and we want the whole world to know about Adegbola is that he was the one who further cemented the relationship of our age-long Ibadan/Ibarapa.

 

“He has been the link that further joined together in the pride of Ibadan/Ibarapa.

 

“He has alot of respect for Ibadanland and we also love him, and we are happy to always associate with him as the Eleruwa of Eruwa land.”

 

The Ibadan Mogajis, CCII, Baales, and ICPI pledged their support for the monarch, promising to work closely with him to achieve his vision for Eruwa land.

 

According to the stakeholders, the coronation of Oba Adegbola as the Eleruwa of Eruwa land will be a significant development in the traditional institution of the area.

 

“The monarch’s ascension to the throne will being joy and excitement to the people of Eruwa land, who are eager to see the impact of his leadership. With the support of the Ibadan community and the state government, Oba Adegbola is poised to make a lasting impact on Eruwa land.

 

As Oba Adegbola begins his reign as the Eleruwa of Eruwa land, the Ibadan Mogajis, CCII, Baales, ICPI, and other stakeholders are confident that he will excel in his new role.

 

The stakeholders however commended governor Seyi Makinde for his painstakingly efforts in the selection and approval of Adegbola as the new Eleruwa of Eruwa land.
