An APC Chieftain and Oyo Central Senatorial hopeful, Alhaji Wasiu Ademola Alli (AWA), has congratulated former ALGON Chairman in Oyo State, Prince Ayodeji Abass-Aleshinloye, on his appointment as a member of the Federal Character Commission (FCC) by President Bola Tinubu.
This is contained in a statement personally signed by AWA and made available to newsmen on Tuesday in Ibadan, where he also felicitated with Abass-Aleshinloye on the occasion of his birthday.
Alli described Abass-Aleshinloye’s appointment as a well-deserved recognition of his loyalty, commitment and outstanding contributions to the progressive ideals of the APC.
He noted that his birthday further provided an opportunity to celebrate his life of service and dedication to the people.
Alli commended President Tinubu for finding him worthy of the assignment, expressing confidence that Abass-Aleshinloye would bring his wealth of experience, integrity and dedication to bear in advancing the FCC’s mandate.
The APC chieftain urged the new appointee to justify the confidence reposed in him by ensuring fairness, equity and unity in the discharge of his duties, while also using the platform to foster national cohesion.
AWA prayed for long life, good health, and greater accomplishments for Abass-Aleshinloye.
He prayed for divine wisdom, strength and guidance for Abass-Aleshinloye as he takes on the new responsibility.
