Oyo Central Senatorial hopeful, Dr. Ademola Wasiu Alli (AWA), has extended warm felicitations to former Senate Leader, Senator Teslim Folarin, OFR, on the occasion of his birthday.
Alli, in a statement he personally signed and made available to newsmen on Thursday in Ibadan, said Folarin remained a remarkable leader and statesman whose influence transcends partisan divides.
He described Folarin as a towering political force whose experience and leadership have greatly shaped Oyo State and Nigeria’s political landscape.
Alli lauded the senator’s political acumen and deep understanding of Nigeria’s socio-political dynamics, noting that his over two decades of service have been defined by courage, consistency and vision.
“For more than twenty years, Senator Folarin has been a dominant figure in Oyo State and Nigerian politics, shaped by the best of both the progressive and conservative traditions.
“His political experience and grasp of governance dynamics remain unmatched and continue to inspire a new generation of leaders,” he said.
The financial expert and politician further extolled Folarin for earning and justifying, the revered title of “Leader” through his numerous contributions to national development.
He said that the former Senate Leader’s commitment to the growth of the All Progressives Congress (APC), its ideals of service and progress has made him a rallying point for party members across the state.
“As our great party continues to reposition itself for future successes, we draw strength from the steadfastness and wisdom of leaders like Senator Folarin.
“His example reminds us that leadership is not about titles, but about service, sacrifice and results,” he said.
Alli prayed that Almighty Allah would grant Folarin long life, good health, renewed wisdom and divine guidance as he continues to play pivotal role in Oyo and Nigeria’s political evolution.
