The Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII), Mogajis in Ibadanland, the Ibadan Compound Peace Initiative (ICPI), Monarchs, Baales and other prominent sons and daughters of Ibadan have congratulated Chief Engr. Dotun Sanusi, the Okanlomo of Oodua, on being conferred with a triple honor by GSFEN Business School and GSFEN Worldwide Ltd.
The stakeholders described the honour as well-deserved, considering Sanusi’s pedigree and antecedents.
Recall that GSFEN Business School and GSFEN Worldwide Ltd, United Kingdom recently conferred three prestigious honours on Okanlomo Oódua, Dotun Sanusi, in recognition of his exceptional leadership, visionary enterprise, and far-reaching contributions to global business, humanitarian advancement and tourism development.
At a ceremony held on 28 January 2026 in London, Chief Sanusi was awarded an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Business Administration (DBA) by GSFEN Business School, following the approval of its Board of Governors.
The award acknowledges his exemplary leadership style, strategic innovation, and sustained impact across business and community development spheres.
In further recognition of his humanitarian footprint, GSFEN Worldwide Ltd also presented him with the GSFEN Global Humanitarian and Community Impact Award, honouring his unwavering commitment to social upliftment, economic empowerment, and people-centred development.
In the same ceremony, Ilaji Hotel & Sports Resort, Ibadan, a flagship hospitality and tourism initiative founded by Chief Sanusi, received the GSFEN Award of Excellence for outstanding achievements in hospitality and sports development, underscoring its role in promoting tourism, employment, and international best practices within Nigeria’s leisure economy.
The awards were presented under the authority of Prof. Blessing Lawal, FCIA, Chairman, GSFEN Worldwide Ltd, reinforcing the global relevance of Chief Sanusi’s contributions.
A statement by Mogaji Asimiyu Ariori, President of Ibadan Mogajis, and ICPI Coordinator, Mogaji Dr. Nurudeen Akinade, said Sanusi’s efforts towards the development of Ibadanland, Yorubaland, and Nigeria as a whole cannot be overemphasized.
