The Divine Mandate Movement (DMM) has paid glowing tribute to one of Oyo State’s most celebrated philanthropists and political leaders, Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo, on the occasion of his birthday, describing him as “a rare gift from God to humanity, a distinguished statesman whose life has become a shining testimony of selfless service, compassion and transformational leadership.”
In a goodwill message signed on behalf of the organization by its Administrative Secretary, Ms. Folashade Akintola to commemorate the occasion, the Movement said Ambassador Ajadi has, through uncommon generosity and unwavering commitment to humanity, earned a unique place in the hearts of countless people across Oyo State and beyond.
According to the Movement, true greatness is not measured by the wealth one possesses but by the number of lives one positively transforms.
“Some people count their years; great men make their years count. Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo belongs to the latter. His footprints are boldly engraved in the hearts of the people because he has consistently chosen to lift others instead of merely lifting himself.”
The statement described the celebrant as a man of distinctive values, uncommon humility, and extraordinary compassion, whose lifestyle reflects the timeless biblical principle that “it is more blessed to give than to receive” (Acts 20:35).
According to the Movement, Ambassador Ajadi has demonstrated that leadership is not merely about occupying political office but about becoming an instrument of hope for the forgotten, strength for the weak, and a voice for those without one.
The Movement further noted that long before he became a leading contestant as the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) aspirant for the 2027 Oyo State governorship election and now as the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) candidate for the Oyo Central Senatorial District ahead of the 2027 general election, Ajadi had already established himself as a dependable benefactor whose philanthropy transcends politics, religion, ethnicity and social status.
It added that his numerous interventions in education, youth empowerment, entrepreneurship, healthcare and community development have transformed lives and restored hope to thousands of families across Oyo State.
“His indiscriminate acts of kindness have made him a household name. His generosity is not seasonal, selective or politically motivated. Rather, it flows naturally from a heart that genuinely loves humanity.
“Where many people see problems, Ambassador Ajadi sees possibilities. Where others build walls, he builds bridges. Where despair exists, he inspires hope. These rare qualities have made him one of the most influential and respected political figures in Oyo State today.”
The Divine Mandate Movement also praised Ambassador Ajadi’s unwavering commitment to grassroots development, describing him as a visionary leader who understands that sustainable progress begins with empowering ordinary people.
The statement observed that his investments in young people, support for small businesses and continuous encouragement of community development initiatives have endeared him to people across all social and political divides.
To mark the occasion, the Movement announced that it would host a special birthday get-together in honour of the celebrant, describing the event as an opportunity to celebrate a life devoted to service, generosity and nation-building.
