Folarin Celebrates Ex-Oyo NUJ Chairman, ‘Dembab’ on 50th Birthday

Former Senate Leader, Senator Teslim Kolawole Folarin, has congratulated a former Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Oyo State Council, Alhaji Ademola Babalola on the occasion of his 50th birthday.

In a congratulatory message issued on Tuesday by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Com. YSO Olaniyi, Folarin described the veteran journalist as a distinguished media professional whose career has been marked by professionalism, responsible leadership and commitment to the advancement of journalism in Oyo State.

The three-term senator noted that attaining the golden age of 50 represents an important milestone worthy of celebration and reflection, particularly for an individual who has devoted a significant part of his professional life to journalism, public enlightenment and service to the media community.

Folarin commended Babalola for his contributions to the growth of the journalism profession and for providing leadership to colleagues during his tenure at the helm of the Oyo State Council.

“On this special occasion of your 50th birthday, I heartily congratulate you on attaining the golden age.

“Your journey in journalism and service to the media community has been characterised by professionalism, dedication and leadership. Your contributions to the development of journalism in Oyo State, including your service as Chairman of the NUJ, are worthy of commendation.
