Nigeria @66: Adedoyin Congratulates Makinde, Oyo Assembly Members, Residents

The Majority Leader of the Oyo State House of Assembly and member representing Ogbomoso South State Constituency, Hon. Sanjo Adedoyin, has congratulated the Governor of Oyo State and presidential candidate of the Allies People’s Movement (APM), Engr. Seyi Makinde, members of the Oyo State House of Assembly and the good people of the state on the occasion of Nigeria’s 66th Independence Anniversary.

 

Hon. Adedoyin, in a statement to mark the 66th anniversary, extended his warm greetings to Nigerians, particularly the people of Ogbomoso South State Constituency, as the country celebrates another milestone in its journey as an independent nation.

 

He also felicitated the traditional council and traditional institutions across the constituency, led by the Onpetu of Ijeru, His Royal Majesty, Oba Sunday Oladapo Oyediran, Lagbami Osekun III, acknowledging their invaluable contributions to peace, unity and development in the communities.

 

The Majority Leader equally extended his goodwill to the children, youths, women, men, elderly citizens and vulnerable members of the various communities in Ogbomoso South and Ogbomoso as a whole, urging everyone to continue to contribute positively to the growth and development of the country.

 

He called on Nigerians to remain committed to the ideals of unity, peace, patriotism, justice and good citizenship, stressing that the progress of Nigeria requires the collective efforts of government and citizens.

 

Hon. Adedoyin said the Independence anniversary should also serve as an opportunity for Nigerians to reflect on the sacrifices of the nation’s founding fathers and renew their commitment to building a peaceful, prosperous and united Nigeria.

 

He commended Governor Seyi Makinde for his leadership in Oyo State and appreciated members of the Oyo State House of Assembly for their commitment to legislative duties and the advancement of good governance in the state.

 

While acknowledging the challenges confronting the country, Hon. Adedoyin expressed optimism that Nigeria would continue to overcome its difficulties and move towards a more prosperous future through collective responsibility, resilience and purposeful leadership.

 

He assured the people of Ogbomoso South State Constituency of his continued commitment to representing their interests and supporting initiatives that would improve their welfare and contribute to the development of the constituency.
