JUST IN: Saki Monarch Declares Curfew as Customs Officer, Indigene Lost Lives in a Bloody Encounter

The Okere of Saki, Oba Khalid Olabisi has reportedly declared a curfew in Saki after at least one customs officer and one indigene lost their lives in a free-for-all clash.

The Pacesetter News reliably gathered that a fight ensued when Customs officers allegedly chased a Saki indigene alleged to be a smuggler into the town.

Sources who spoke with this newspaper on the condition of anonymity, revealed that the smuggler was ‘killed’ in the process.

The Pacesetter News was made to understand that some individuals in the ancient town of Saki attacked the customs office, killing one of their officers and burning a customs vehicle.

Following the announcement of a total curfew by the Okere of Saki to prevent further breakdown of law and order, have deserted major markets and streets of the town.
