A former Oyo State Senator, Hamzat Ayoade Adeseun, has congratulated Zaccheus Adedeji on his appointment as Special Adviser on Revenue, just as he also hailed President Bola Tinubu on what he described as putting a round peg in a round hole.
The statement quoted Adeseun as saying the appointment of Adedeji was well deserved.
It added that Adedeji had distinguished himself as an accountant, corporate tax and public finance development expert.
“As an accountant, corporate tax and public finance development expert, Adedeji has written his name in gold in the annals of history of the finance profession.
“As former Commissioner of Finance under late Governor Abiola Ajimobi, he contributed immensely to the growth and development of Oyo state and I see his appointment as round peg in a round hole”.
Mayegun of Ogbomosoland charged Adedeji to deploy his wealth of experience as financial expert to improve on the revenue generation of Nigeria.
He stated that the new Special Adviser will bring his wealth of experience to bear in the discharge of his duties even as he contributes his quota to the renewed hope vision of the Bola Tinubu/ Shettima administration.
“I have confidence in your capacity to deliver on your mandate and I strongly believe that you will bring your wealth of experience garnered over the years to bear on your new assignment. I, therefore, congratulate you and wish you a successful tenure in office,” he said.
