The duo of the leading presidential and deputy presidential contender for the forthcoming national election of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Comrade Alhassan Yahaya and Abimbola Oyetunde on Sunday joined Muslim faithful in the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) nationwide to celebrate the birth of Prophet Muhammed on this yearâs auspicious occasion of Eid-el-Maulud and tasked them to imbibe the teachings of the holy prophet Muhammed (SAW).
According to a statement issued by Comrade Ademola Babalola on behalf of Team A+A rooting for both leadersâ emergence come November election in Owerri, Imo State, the Prophetâs life and times symbolized resilience, empathy, unity, brotherhood, respect and care for all; humility and modesty and above all, submission to the will of Almighty Allah and as a Union, we have lots to learn from those virtues of Prophet Muhammed.
Both Alhassan and Abimbola remarked that, âAs we mark this significant event, we reflect on the Prophet’s exemplary virtues and reaffirm our commitment to the values of compassion, justice, and peace.
âAs a Union, we remain dedicated to building a legacy that inspires excellence, drives innovation, and fosters a brighter future for our members.
