AWA Congratulates Yilwatda, APC NWC on Successful Convention

An Oyo Central Senatorial hopeful, Alhaji Ademola Wasiu Alli (AWA) has congratulated Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda on his return as the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), describing his return as well-deserved and timely.

 

Alli, in a statement made available to newsmen on Saturday, said Yilwatda’s leadership experience and commitment to progressive ideals would further strengthen the party’s internal cohesion and national outlook.

 

He extended warm congratulations to other members of the newly elected National Working Committee (NWC), particularly the National Secretary, Sen. Ajibola Basiru and

National Deputy Auditor, Hon. Olugbenga Olayemi as

 

AWA applauded their emergence as a reflection of the party’s democratic credentials and unity of purpose, expressing confidence in their capacity to deliver on their mandates.

 

Alli commended delegates from across the country for their discipline, commitment and steadfastness throughout the convention, noting that their conduct reaffirmed the APC’s status as a formidable political platform.

 

He applauded delegates from Oyo State, commending their loyalty and unwavering support for the party’s ideals which contributed significantly to the success of the exercise.

 

Alli further congratulated President Bola Tinubu on the successful hosting of the convention, praying for sustained unity within the party and expressing optimism about APC’s victory in the 2027 general elections.
