The Iyalaje Adinni of Oyo State, who is also the Chief Executive Officer, Kayrom Lee Gym and Fitness Centre, Ibadan and the Founder, Imperial Initiative For Human Development, Ambassador Romoke Ayinde, has congratulated Oba Rashidi Ladoja, on his confirmation as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland.
In a statement she personally signed and made available to the Media, Ambassador Ayinde described nomination by the Ibadan Kingmakers and confirmation by Oyo State Governor as well-deserved, maintaining that the Monarch will use his wealth of experience to bring more development to Ibadanland.
” Our Baba is very vast in knowledge and understanding of governance and administration, therefore, I have confidence in him that he would contribute more and Ibadanland would witness tremendous achievements during his reign”, she said.
Ambassador Ayinde noted that Oba Ladoja is a committed leader, lover of peace, who always put people’s first, expressing excitement that the former Governor, now Olubadan-designate was born on 25th September, 1944, and will be crowned on September 26th, 2025 as the 44th Olubadan.
She commended the State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde for his prompt confirmation and picking a day after the Monarch will celebrate his 81st Birthday for the Coronation.
The Ibadan-born Entrepreneur prayed Allah to continue to guide Oba Ladoja and Olubadan-in-Council with the needed wisdom to lead the ancient city to the greater heights.
It will be recalled that the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Akinloye Owolabi-Olakulehin joined his ancestors on July 7, 2025 at the age of 90.
