CCII Presidency: Waheed Ekun Loses to Adeaga

Popular Ibadan illustrious son and a sport legend, Alhaji Waheed Ekun on Friday lost the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII) presidential race to Prince Oluyemisi Adetayo Adeaga.

Adeago defeated his arch rival, Waheed Ekun in a keenly contested election.

The President-elect polled 51 out of the 99 votes cast while Waheed Ekun secured 31 votes.

President-elect Adeaga takes over from Prince Yemi Soladoye.

Oluyemisi Adetayo Adeaga (Prince) JP is a board member of Nigerian Red Cross. He is a Chatered Accountant (CNA) and an associate of the Chatered Institute of Local Government and Public Administration of Nigeria (ICPAN).

He holds BSC Degree in Business Administration and MBA (Marketing Option).
