The Oyo State Chapter of the Coalition of Farmers Associations for Food Security in Nigeria (COA) has declared its support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (PBAT) and his Renewed Hope Agenda.

The declaration was made by the Oyo State Coordinator, Hon. Tope-Oye Alamu, on behalf of the state executives and members of the coalition, reaffirming their position in support of President Tinubu’s re-election bid and the continuation of the Renewed Hope Agenda.

As a coalition representing farmers and agricultural stakeholders, COA-Farmers recognises the importance of policies and programmes that promote food security, strengthen agricultural production, empower farmers, create employment opportunities, and improve the livelihoods of Nigerians.

The coalition emphasises the need for sustained attention to the agricultural sector, particularly in the areas of access to affordable farm inputs, mechanisation, financing, modern farming techniques, livestock development, food processing, and improved market access for farmers.

According to Alamu, the coalition remains committed to constructive engagement with relevant stakeholders to advance the interests of farmers and contribute to Nigeria’s food security objectives.

He further noted that the Renewed Hope Agenda provides a platform for continued dialogue on agricultural development, economic opportunities, and national progress.

COA-Farmers Oyo State Chapter reiterates its commitment to promoting food security, supporting agricultural development, and engaging constructively with initiatives aimed at improving the welfare of farmers and strengthening Nigeria’s agricultural value chains.
