EACOED PROVOST, RASAK ADEFABI LAUDS ALUMNI FAMILY AS 1987 SET DONATES UTILITY CAR

The Dr. Rasak Adetunji Adefabi-led- College Management of Emmanuel Alayande College of Education, Oyo scored another goal on Thursday, 20 August, 2020 as the College 1987 Alumni Set donated a Toyota Corolla utility vehicle and a customized podium to the College.

The team, ushered into the Provost Office by the Head, Alumni Relations Unit, Dr. ‘Dapo Ojo, was led by its Chairman, Mr. Kolawole Amole. In his speech, Mr. Amole thanked the Almighty God for the opportunity to give back to the College. According to him, “We are happy to be back home. This College made us, and we see this as an opportunity to be part of the history of the Adefabi-led-administration. This donation is just a tip of an iceberg as we have just started. On behalf of my Executive Council, members and in partnership with the Chairman, SEAP Micro-Finance Bank, Pastor Dokun Olatunde, I formally present this Toyota Camry Saloon Car and podium to the College.”

In his remarks, the College Provost, Dr. Rasak A. Adefabi, expressed gratitude on behalf of the Governing Council, College Management, Staff and Students to the leadership and members of the Set. According to the College Helmsman, “I am delighted today to receive these donations on behalf of the College. I am particularly delighted because this is unprecedented in the history of the College. For record purpose, this is the first set that will make giant donations to the College. I pray to the Almighty God to bless you all.”

Speaking further, the Chief Executive used the occasion to identify with the Chairman and Staff of SEAP Microfinance Bank on the 20th anniversary celebration of the Company. “We rejoice with the SEAP Microfinance Bank and particularly its Chairman, Pastor ‘Dokun Olatunde who is our alumnus and a vibrant member of the 1987 Class. The College hopes to partner with the firm in areas that will be of tremendous benefits to us in the nearest future” he submitted.

At the event, the new Ag. Registrar, Mrs. Olubunmi Asunmo received a special gift presented to the immediate Past Registrar/Secretary to Council, Alh. Teslim Ladimeji Adediran, J.P who officially bowed out of service yesterday, Wednesday, 19 August, 2020 on his behalf.
