The Federal Character Commissioner representing Oyo State, Prince Ayodeji Abass Aleshinloye, MDII has extended warm felicitations to Muslim faithful across Oyo State and Nigeria at large on the joyous occasion of Eid Mubarak.
In his message through his media office,Prince Aleshinloye congratulated the Muslim Ummah for the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan, a period dedicated to fasting, prayer, sacrifice, and spiritual renewal. He urged all faithful to sustain the virtues imbibed during Ramadan, such as patience, humility, compassion, and self-discipline.
The Commissioner emphasized that the lessons of Ramadan should reflect in daily conduct, fostering unity, peaceful coexistence, and mutual respect among Nigerians, regardless of religious or ethnic differences.
The former Oyo State Algon Chairman also called on Muslims to use the occasion of Eid to offer fervent prayers for the peace, stability, and progress of Nigeria, especially in this critical period of nation-building. He expressed optimism that with collective prayers and commitment to national values, the country will overcome its challenges and achieve greater prosperity.
He further encouraged citizens to continue supporting the government at all levels while promoting harmony and understanding within their communities.
