A former lawmaker in the Oyo state House of Assembly, Hon Babatunde Esuola is dead.
Said to have died hours ago, news of his death began to filter in about 6pm this evening.
Sources close to the deceased lawmaker from the ancient town of Oyo revealed that it was quite unfortunate he died days to his PhD defence at the University of Ibadan where he has been a Doctoral student.
Pacesetter News recalled that the late Esuola was one of the Pro – Alao-Akala, lawmaker during the impeachment saga that led to the removal of Gov. Rasheed Ladoja from office in 2006.
He was appointed Chairman, Oyo state Community, Social and Development Agency, (OYCSDA), Board by Gov. Seyi Makinde during the first of his tenure in office.
