Hon. Ladi Oluokun, a former chairman of Ibadan North-East Local Government, has congratulated Dr. Zacchaeus Adedeji on his appointment as Acting Chairman of Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS).

He also congratulated Adedeji and wife, Tosin on their recent investiture into Knighthood in the order of Saint Christopher (KSC) in Ibadan.
Oluokun described Adedeji as eminently qualified and well-deserving professional for the FIRS role, commending President Bola Tinubu for his dexterity in identifying talents.
He said that Adedeji’s expertise and experience in financial management, taxation, and leadership make him an ideal candidate for the position.
“Adedeji has consistently demonstrated dedication to excellence throughout his career.
“He is highly regarded in Nigeria’s financial industry, having served in various leadership roles, both public and private sectors.
“Adedeji’s appointment is testament to his competency, hard work and commitment to public service. He will bring his passion, innovation, and expertise to bear on his new responsibilities,” he said.
Oluokun expressed confidence that FIRS will continue to make great strides in revenue generation and tax administration, which are crucial to Nigeria’s economic growth.
He congratulated Adedeji and APC Chieftain, Asiwaju Yemi Aderibigbe on their investiture into Knighthood in the order of Saint Christopher (KSC) in Ibadan.
Oluokun said that the honour bestowed on the two individuals was well deserved, given their immense contributions to the development of their respective communities and the nation at large.
He praised Adedeji for his tireless efforts towards improving the living conditions of those in his community, state and Nigeria.
Oluokun noted that Aderibigbe had over the years demonstrated strong commitment to the advancement of his people.
He expressed confidence in the ability of the newly invested knights to continue to serve as pillars of support for their communities and the nation as a whole.
Oluokun called on the duo to remain committed to the ideals of the knighthood order and to use their positions to champion the cause of the less privileged as well as vulnerable in their communities.
