Pastor Nathaniel Olufemi Oderemi of Christ Apostolic Church, (CAC) Agbala Agbara Adura, Mosoke, Apete, Ibadan on Sunday 2nd of August, 2026 marked his 70th birthday anniversary in a thanksgiving service that drew worshippers and well-wishers from far and near.
The celebration, held at the church premises, was both spiritual and colourful, as members gathered to honour their shepherd on attaining the milestone age.
The event was graced by dignitaries from all walks of life, including ministers of God, community leaders, and other eminent personalities.
The atmosphere was filled with songs of praise, prayers, and testimonies as guests described the day as one of gratitude to God for the life of the celebrant.
The church auditorium was filled to capacity, reflecting the wide respect the cleric commands within and outside Ibadan.
Although the cleric clocked 70 on Saturday, the thanksgiving was held on Sunday to enable the congregation and invited guests to celebrate together.
In tributes throughout the service, speakers extolled Pastor Oderemi for his virtues of humility, integrity, and dedication to God’s work.
Many noted that the Cleric life has been a model of selfless service and commitment to the gospel over the years.
Those who spoke at the event commended the cleric for his impact, both spiritually and morally, on people at home and abroad.
Several guests said his ministry has extended beyond the pulpit to touch families, youths, and the wider community.
In his remarks, the celebrant gave glory to God for His goodness and mercy upon his life.
Oderemi said he was overwhelmed by God’s faithfulness and protection through the decades.
He thanked the church, his family, and all who came to celebrate with him, praying for continued grace to serve God and humanity in his new age.
Highlight of the event include presentation from Royal Shepard, presentation of gifts to the celebrant by dignitaries, and admirers, followed by the ceremonial cutting of birthday cakes to the applause of the congregation.
Recall that the celebrant was born on August 1, 1956 in Agbede-Adodo, Oke-Oniyanrin, his mothers name is Comfort Oderemi and his fathers name is John Obidahunsi Oderemi who hails from Oyo town
He married to Mrs Olorunfemi Deborah and blessed with Godly children.
He began his journey into the ministry by attending Michael Ojo Olowere Colege of Theology, MOCOT in 2009 and graduates from 2011 as an Evangelist
He further pursued his calling to become a Pastor by attending CAC Theology Seminary in Ikeji-Arakeji in 2014.
His passion to be grounded in the word of God led him to his further studies in 2017/208 and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in Theology, from Church Growth International College, Oke-Ado Ibadan
In 2019, he was oppotuned to travelled out to Jerusalem
15, years ago, he started his own ministry.
