Ibadan Rotary Clubs Organise Free Health for Residents

Ibadan Rotary Clubs have concluded a free health program for residents of the state suffering from one ailment or the other as part of the core mandates of the focus.

 

The participated clubs include; RC Ibadan Akobo, RC Ibadan Prestige, RC Ibadan Ring Road, RC Ibadan City Central, RC Agodi Ibadan and RC Oyo Metro.

 

The two-day event was kick-started on October 25, 2022 Molete Health Centre and ended on October 26, 2022 at Iwo Road Health Centre.

 

Tagged “Rotary Family Health Days,”the clubs focused on health related issues which ranged from Polio immunization, Malaria screening and treatment, HIV testing and counseling, Hepatitis B and C, Diabetes and glucose level streaming.

 

Others include; Hypertension screening, Tuberculosis screening, prostrate cancer test for men and Breast examination for females, Covid-19 awareness and sensitisation, among treatment of other ailments.

 

The free health programme attracted people from both far and near which afforded them the opportunity to have their health status examined at no cost.

 

The three sites include; Molete health center, Iwo road health center &
Fiditi health center.
