The Jauro Fulani of Oke Ogun, Alhaji Abubakar Bani has congratulated the Executive Governor of Oyo state Engineer Seyi Makinde on the occasion of two years in office.
He stressed that Governor Seyi Makinde has brought about repid development and unprecedented achievement to Oyo State within two years in which the record said surpasses his predecessor.
Alhaji Bani, the Jauro Fulani of oke ogun eulogized Engineer Seyi Makinde for making Oyo State friendly and worth living for both indigene and non indigene in the state.
He commended the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi 111 for his leadership style geared towards building harmonious relationship between Yoruba and other aliens.
Jauro Fulani, Alhaji Abubakar Bani admonished the people of Oyo state to maintain peaceful co-existence and live as one family irrespective of tribe or religion affliations.
Similarly, the Jauro of Oke Ogun Alhaji Abubakar Bani has warned Fulani across oke ogun area of Oyo state to be of a good moral conduct in order to change the erroneous impression or perception of the populace about Fulani settlers in the state.
Alhaji Abubakar Bani gave the hint at a peace meeting held with Fulani herdsmen in Arinoye Area, Alaga.
Alhaji Bani while speaking noted that it is high time Fulani in Yoruba land be a worthy representative of Fulani race through their attitude in order to change the narrative.
He also charged Fulani leaders in the region to warn their subjects not to engage in any form of misdemeanor culpable of tarnishing the good image of Fulani settlers in Yoruba land.
