A national commissioner at the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Abubakar Nahuche has resigned.
INEC announced his resignation on Monday, just moments after Mahmood Yakubu handed over to another commissioner following the expiration of his tenure.
The commission said Nahuche resigned for “personal reasons.”
Prof. Mahmood Yakubu handed over to Air Vice Marshal Ahmed Mu’azu (Retired) to handle the affairs of the Commission pending the confirmation of the re-appointed INEC Chair at the Commission’s Head Quarters, Abuja.
