Mawlid Nabiyyi: Alli greets Muslims, prays for better leadership for Oyo

The candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Oyo South Senatorial district, Akogun Sharafadeen Alli on Sunday congratulated the Muslim community home and abroad on the occasion of Mawlid Nabiyyi, the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad.

 

Alli wished everyone peace, happiness and good health as they celebrate the birth of the Prophet Muhammad.

 

The former Secretary to the State Government in a statement he personally signed prayed for better leadership for Oyo state.

 

The Ibadan Senior Chief who reminded Nigerians that the economic recession is a global phenomenal, urged the people of Oyo South Senatorial District to vote APC for maximum delivery of dividends of democracy.

 

According to him, Nigerians need to engage in prayers for the nation for peaceful electioneering process as it prepares for democratic elections next year.

 

“I congratulate all Nigerians, the good people of Oyo state and most importantly, the Muslim Ummah on the occasion of the commemoration of the birth of Prophet Muhammad. We are blessed to witness another year on the earth.

 

“In as much as there is global recession, I want the good people of our dear state to pray for better leadership of this great state. We deserve a better leadership which is synonymous to our party, APC. We need a better road and proper democratisation of local government administration. Enough of strangers taking our resources to neighbouring states. The indigenes of Oyo state must take the destiny of the state in their hands.”

 

The former Chairman of Odu’a investment therefore urged Nigerians to use the occasion of the birth of the prophet to pray for betterment of Oyo state, Nigeria and the entire world.
