Nigeria at 60: Let’s Keep Hope Alive – Senator Balogun

The Senator representing Oyo South in the 9th national Assembly, Dr. Kola Balogun has congratulated the President and members of the Federal Executive council, the Senate President and all members of the national Assembly, Governor Seyi Makinde and all the good people of Oyo state on the occasion of our 60th Independence anniversary.

According to the press statement by his Special Adviser on media – Mr. Rotimi Johnson, Senator Balogun enjoined Nigerians to be united to make “Project Nigeria” work.

“Making Nigeria better is more than wishful thinking or positive confessions, we must walk the talk and focus more on things that unite us.”

“Let’s continue to pray God directs our noble course, guide our leaders right and the followers the truth to know too. A great nation is only achievable when we are united, more trusting and not fanning ember of disunity.”

“Once again, I congratulate us all for being alive to witness this 60th anniversary” the statement concluded.
