The Oyo south senatorial district candidate of the Allied People’s Movement (APM), Hon. Adedeji Dhikrullahi Olajide Odidiomo, has congratulated the Director General, Odidiomo Campaign Organization, Prince Seun Adelore, on his latest appointment as Senior Special Assistant on Chieftaincy Matters by the Oyo state Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde, describing the appointments as an opportunity for him and other beneficiaries to bring their experience and competence to bear in the service of the state.
In a statement made available to newsmen by his Media Aide, Tolu Mustapha, Hon. Adedeji Olajide Odidiomo also congratulated the immediate past Chairman of the Oyo State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) and former member of the Oyo State Advisory Council, Pastor Akin Alamu, on his appointment as a member of the Oyo State Elders’ Council.
According to the statement, Olajide Odidiomo also extended his congratulations to Yinka Oladoyinbo, appointed Executive Assistant on Information and Orientation; Ronke Giwa-Onafuwa, Senior Special Assistant on Information and Orientation; Dapo Falade, Senior Special Assistant on Information and Orientation; Hon. Gbenga Adewusi, former Chairman of the Oyo State Sports Council, appointed Executive Assistant, Sports Commission; Ogundele Quadri, Special Assistant on Urban Development; Elder Olawale Olugbenga, JP, Special Assistant on Culture and Tourism; and Ibrahim Abayomi, Executive Assistant, Works.
The appointments, according to the governor’s statement, takes immediate effect, with the new appointees charged to discharge their responsibilities with dedication, commitment and loyalty to the people and government of Oyo State.
Odidiomo, in the statement, urged the newly appointed officials to see their respective positions as a call to greater public service, noting that their appointments come with responsibilities to contribute meaningfully to the development and administration of Oyo State.
He also commended Governor Makinde for what he described as continued recognition of individuals with experience in different sectors of public life, while wishing the appointees success in their new assignments.
