Odidiomo Congratulates Arapaja, Lauds Makinde, Says Peaceful Conduct of Convention Was a Testimony of Unity

The member representing Ibadan Southwest/Northwest Federal Constituency of Oyo State at the National Assembly, Hon. Stanley Olajide Odidiomo on Monday, congratulated the newly elected members of the National Working Committee of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Odidiomo stated this while speaking with newsmen in Abuja, the lawmaker who was a member of the conventionā€™s planning committee, congratulated the Zonal Chairman of the party, Taofeek Arapaja and other members of the executive for their emergence and maturity throughout the period of the national convention held at Eagle Square, Abuja.

According to him, the orderliness and peaceful conduct of the election was a clear testimony of the unity and togetherness prevalent in the party, adding that the journey to rescue Nigeria and Nigerians from the grip of those that have impoverished the masses has started as the PDP remains the only hope for everyone and where internal democracy is used optimally.

He commended the leader of the party in the Southwest, Governor Seyi Makinde who was the secretary of the convention and all the stakeholders for their contributions, comportment and wisdom, which led to the partyā€™s successful convention.

Meanwhile, members of the party from Odidiomoā€™s Federal Constituency, have taken to Social Media platforms to express their heartfelt gratitude for his support and mobilization to Abuja for the convention.
