An appeal has been made to the government at all levels to empower the town planners and sanitary inspectors to enforce people compliance in every built scheme with effective sensitisation on the essence of hygiene protocols to keep the environment clean and safe.
The founder and spiritual head of Shafaudeen in Islam worldwide, Prof. Sabit Ariyo Olagoke during a lecture he delivered during the commissioning of a sixteen rooms comfort house for shafaudeen National headquarters to Herald the construction of projects to kick-start their proposed Minaret University called for total restructuring of the country.
The event which had in attendance members of the Islamic group also hosted the executive members of the Radio and Television Workers Union (RATTAWU) who were celebrating their week to thank God for the journey of another year.
While speaking about the similarity of the RATTAWU and the clerics , Prof. Olagoke hinted that both were like Siamese twins that can not do without one another, adding that the two were ordained by the Almighty Allah.
While speaking about the 2023 elections, Prof. Olagoke called on Nigerian leaders to call for a total restructuring of the country and prayed the country will not break up as being called for by some sections of the country.
In his words, the Chairman of RATTAWU in Oyo State, Comrade Aribatise Adebayo who led other members of his executive members to the event before commissioning the projects also called on the people to prioritize comfort rooms (toilet) while embarking on building projects.
While thanking God for the opportunity to mark another year in good health, he also thanked the founder of Shafaudeen for hosting them and pledged to encourage more robust relationship with shafaudeen.
In his remarks about the current insecurity and other vices being experienced by Nigerians, Olagoke noted that the inability of the leaders to follow the Bible and Quran is responsible for the current crisis that the country is facing
“It is better to stake one’s life for God’s commandments, God must be allowed to come to our rescue instead of putting our trust in the leaders”.
