Adedeji Dhikrullahi Stanley Olajide, has congratulated Hon. Abayomi Fagbenro and Prince Saheed Adeyemi Arowosaye on their appointments by Governor Seyi Makinde.

In a statement made available to journalists by Tolu Mustapha, Special Adviser, Media and Public Affairs to the two term federal lawmaker commended Governor Makinde for what he described as his continued commitment to identifying competent individuals for strategic responsibilities in government.

Olajide particularly lauded the appointment of Fagbenro, citing his background in security administration and international exposure, including his service at the Department of Defense, Army Network Enterprise Centre, Fort Belvoir, Virginia, United States.

He noted that at a time security remains critical to governance and socio-economic development, the appointment reflects the administration’s determination to strengthen the security architecture of the state.

The lawmaker also congratulated Prince Arowosaye Saheed Adeyemi on his appointment as Chairman of the Board of the Pacesetter Mineral Development Company, describing him as a grassroots politician with considerable administrative experience, having previously served as both caretaker committee chairman and executive chairman of Oyo East local government.

According to Olajide, the appointments are not only a recognition of competence and loyalty but also a call to greater service and responsibility.

“I congratulate Mr. Abayomi Fagbenro and Prince Arowosaye Saheed Adeyemi on their well deserved appointments. I have no doubt that they will justify the confidence reposed in them and contribute significantly to the progress and development of Oyo State,” he stated.

He urged the appointees to remain committed, diligent and focused in the discharge of their responsibilities, while also calling on stakeholders and residents of the state to continue supporting policies and programmes aimed at advancing good governance and sustainable development.
