A socio-political group, the Bola Hammed Tinubu Solidarity Vanguard, has expressed confidence that Governor Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu will win his second-term bid on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the October 10 governorship elections in Ondo State.
The group in a press statement jointly signed by its Osun State Chairman Alhaji Rasheed Adeniji and the State Director of Media and Publicity Comrade OJ Owolawi, said Akeredolu had done enough to deserve a second term. It commended Governor Aketi for his strides and irrevocable commitment to peace and good governance in Ondo State.
The BATS Vanguard called for massive support for Akeredolu and his running mate by reelecting them in the October 10 governorship election in Ondo State.
The statement explained further that the re-election of Akeredolu would further consolidate the achievements recorded in the first tenure of the administration, stressing that Ondo State is in a safe hand under Rotimi Akeredolu.
“With all the laudable developments in Ondo State in almost four years, Akeredolu has proven to the people of Ondo State, his commitment to change the narratives. We therefore call on the electorates to massively vote Aketi on Saturday for continuous progressive development of the State”
Saying that victory was sure, the group expressed optimism that never again will Ondo State people elect corrupt leaders to manage their affairs.
