All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain in Ife South Local Government Area of Osun State, Hon. Okunade Okikiade, has declared that Senator Iyiola Omisore will perform better than incumbent Governor Ademola Adeleke.
Hon. Okikiade, who is an aspirant for the seat of Ife South constituency in the Osun State House of Assembly, expressed his readiness to support the mandate of Omisore against Ademola Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in 2026.
According to him, the leadership qualities and exceptional performance of Omisore as Deputy Governor of Osun State, Senator who represented Ife East and National Secretary of the APC are enough to give him a chance to rule over Osun come 2026.
Okikiade explained that Omisore has continued to put smiles on the faces of Ife people through his influence and should be allowed to extend such gestures to the state come 2026.
Hon. Okunade Okikiade called on all to refrain from campaign of calumny that may undermine the progress of Ife and Osun at large.
“Osun State remains the household of progress for the All Progressives Congress in Nigeria.
“Senator Iyiola Omisore is someone that his intellectual prowess and sagacity is second to none,” he said.
Okikiade noted that Omisore has been tested and he can be trusted if given mandate by Osun people to pilot the affairs of the state.
