The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kajola Local Government Area of Oyo State has officially endorsed Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli as the party’s gubernatorial candidate for the 2027 Oyo State elections.
Hon. Olusola Ogunbode, a senior party chieftain and Akinrogun of Okeholand, expressed heartfelt appreciation to party members for their overwhelming support during the direct primaries.
Speaking to news men shortly after participating in the Ward 05 (Ashi, Pamo, Ijo Isale-Alubo) primary, Ogunbode revealed that Senator Alli won by a wide margin, a trend mirrored across the remaining ten wards of Kajola LGA. He commended the high voter turnout, describing it as a demonstration of the party’s strength and unity.
Ogunbode also acknowledged the other gubernatorial aspirants at his ward, including Senator Fatai Buhari, Chief Bayo Adelabu, and Dr. Muyiwa Gbadegesin, praising them for their courage and willingness to participate in the democratic process.
Urging party members to maintain the same enthusiasm into the general elections, he called on APC leaders at all levels to prioritize unity, love, and togetherness to secure victory for the party in 2027, including support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s bid for a second term.
