House of Representatives aspirants for Ibadan Northwest/Southwest under the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC) have alleged the committee appointed to conduct the primary of their plan to announce their favourite against unanimous decision reached by all aspirants on Friday to suspend the primary due to alleged irregularities discovered in the process.
The unconfirmed report had it that the committee has picked Sunday, 29th of May, 2022 as the day to announce their favoured candidate as the winner of the primary after receiving a sum of Forty Thousand Dollars ($40,000) without conducting primary election.
According to the aggrieved aspirants, the same person conspired with some leaders in the party to manipulate the party’s primary election in 2011, 2015 and 2019.
