A leading team in the forthcoming Oyo State Nigeria Union of Journalists, (NUJ) election slated for December this year has taken a giant step towards its success in the election.
The Team with members contesting for all the positions in the Oyo State NUJ election have Raji Adebayo of Correspondents’ Chapel going for Chairmanship; Adebayo Abdur-Rofih of BCOS as Vice Chairman;; Olamide Adeniji of Information Chapel as Secretary ; Moses Morenikeji of Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, FRCN as Treasurer.
Others are Nurudeen Alimi of Tribune Chapel contesting for the position of Auditor and Akinjola Olubode of BCOS as Asst. Secretary.
Speaking shortly after submission of the forms by the individual Candidates, the Chairmanship Candidate of the Team, Comrade Raji Adebayo said with the submission of their individual forms, they have moved a step forward towards their victory by beaten the deadline set by the Electoral Committee.
He pledged that they will abide by the guidelines set up by the Electoral Committee, just as he appeals to their supporters to demonstrate calmness, maturity and keep praying for their success in the election, saying God will deliver their victory.
