Senator Sharafadeen Alli (APC–Oyo South) has congratulated Chief Kunle Sanda, the Baale of Alegongo and a prominent leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagelu Local Government, on the occasion of his 80th birthday.

Alli, in a statement he personally signed and made available to newsmen on Saturday in Ibadan, described Chief Sanda as an exemplary community leader whose life has been devoted to public service and humanity.

He said that Chief Sanda’s contributions to grassroots development, political stability, and community advancement in Lagelu and beyond have earned him enduring respect and admiration from people across divides.

The lawmaker commended the octogenarian’s commitment to peace, unity, and progress within the APC family, noting that his wisdom and fatherly guidance have continued to inspire younger generations of leaders.

“Chief Sanda is not only a custodian of tradition and culture but also a pillar of political wisdom in Lagelu. His humility, discipline and consistent pursuit of the common good remain worthy of emulation,” Alli said.

Alli prayed that Almighty God grant Chief Sanda more years of sound health, strength, and happiness to continue serving his people, and mentoring others in leadership and community development.

He also joined family members, friends, political associates, and the good people of Lagelu Local Government to celebrate the Baale of Alegongo on this remarkable milestone of his life.

“On behalf of the good people of Oyo South Senatorial District, I rejoice with our respected father, Chief Kunle Sanda, on his 80th birthday and pray that his days be long and fulfilling,” Alli added.
