Civil Servants in Oyo state have started receiving salary alert for the month of July on the 16th.
The pensioners are not also left out as they are already receiving alert for their monthly pensions
A senior civil servant at the state Secretariat told our correspondent that the development is commendable and would serve as relief for Ileya celebration.
The governmet worker who did not want his name in print said “The worries about Ileya celebration for our muslim friends in the service have been allayed and we are happy that Gov. Makinde made this to happen. Although, he is passionate about the welfare of the civil servants in the state and this further confirms his love for workers.
“Since he came on board, he has never renege in his promise to pay salary on or before 25th of every month. We are getting our promotion, leave bonus, arrears and other remunerations as at when due and this doesn’t in any way affects infrastructural and other developmental projects in all sectors”.
