The Ayedero of Yorubaland, Honourable Shina Peller, has extended his heartfelt congratulatory message to the President of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) Alumni Association, Engr. Olalekan Badmus, on his appointment as the Executive Director, Marine and Operations, Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA).
Honourable Peller’s congratulatory message was contained in a statement shared on his social media platforms and with journalists on Saturday, where he expressed confidence in the ability of Engr. Badmus to turn things around positively in his new role at NPA.
It would be recalled that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu had named Badmus alongside others as the new Executive Directors in two agencies under the Federal Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy namely Nigerian Port Authority and Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA).
The former federal lawmaker, Honourable Peller, commended President Tinubu‘s decision, describing it as a well-informed one, while he expressed confidence that Badmus will make significant contributions to the growth of Nigeria’s Marine and Blue Economy ministry and Nigerian economy at large.
