Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde on Wednesday received the report of the judicial panel of inquiry into police brutality and other related matters in the state.
The Panel Chairman, former Chief Judge of Oyo State, Justice Badejoko Adeniji presented the report at Executive Chamber, Governorās office, Secretariat, Ibadan.
Pacesetter news understands that in November 2020, the governor inaugurated the stateās Judicial Panel of Inquiry to look into cases of police brutalities by the disbanded Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) and other units against Nigerians.
With the submission, the panel which began sitting in January 2021, has now completed its job.
