The senatorial candidate of the Accord in Oyo south, Mr. Idris Kolapo Kola-Daisi has expressed that dividends of governance can be easily implemented for the benefit of citizens when the right people are elected to serve.
He made this point on Saturday while speaking as a guest at Lagelu FM’s Bosenlo programme, describing right candidates as individuals who are capable and also known to have the interest of people at heart.
In a statement released from his time on the programme, Kola-Daisi hinged the possibility of achieving this situation on the citizens’ decision to stop rewarding failure during election cycles.
He wrote, “I strongly believe that politics is simple and that governance can be demystified if we elect individuals who are not only capable, but who also have the true interest of the citizens at heart.
“When we do so, when we don’t reward ineptitude from election cycle to election cycle, it will be easier to get dividends of democracy and governance which I can assure you are abundant but rarely seen.”
A chartered banker with years of experience in the wealth creation sector, Kola-Daisi pointed out real empowerment through financial emancipation as a major highlight of his plans, adding that true representation is best done when public officials are readily available and when they constantly consult with the people.
