Soun of Ogbomosoland: The world has lost one of the great sources of wisdom, discipline, courageous, dogged fighter – Oyo Majority Leader, Sanjo Adedoyin

The Majority Leader, Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Sanjo Adedoyin has described the Soun of Ogbomosoland, Oba Jimoh Oyewumi Ajagungbade III, as a great loss to the world.

Adedoyin, who mourned the passing of the foremost traditional ruler, said he was one of his sources of wisdom.
Condolences were extended to the children, monarch’s immediate family, the people of Ogbomoso and the Oyo State Council of Obas.

In an interview with the lawmaker representing Ogbomoso South State Constituency when he visited the palace, Sanjo Adedoyin, was quoted as saying that Oba Oyewumi contributed immensely to the growth and development of Ogbomosoland.

He said that the monarch left his footprints on the sands of time.

“On behalf of the Executive Governor of Oyo State; Engr.Seyi Makinde and the good people of Ogbomoso South, I hereby express our heart-felt condolences to the immediate family of the departed monarch and the people of Ogbomosoland.

“I also commiserate with the Oyo State Council of Obas, which has lost one of the prominent members, Oba Oyewumi”, Adedoyin said.
