The Oyo State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) on Sunday directed members to comply with the directives of the national Secretariat of the Union on the stand of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC).
The NLC had declared a three-day warning strike over hike in electricity tariff and the pump price of fuel which commence on Monday.
A statement by the Secretary of Oyo NUJ, Comrade Sola Oladapo stated that the Union’s Chairman, Comrade Ademola Babalola has directed full compliance with the strike.
He further quoted the Chairman as directing all Chapel leaders to mobilise their members for the strike and ensure full compliance.
