The management of the University of Ibadan, on Saturday, disclaimed the purported news circulating about the reopening of the institution. It says official date will be released soon.
This is contained in a special release signed by the school registrar, Olubunmi Faluyi.
The statement reads:
The story being circulated on the social media feeds on the resumption date for academic activities and guidelines to follow by the students in the University of Ibadan did NOT emanate from the University. Hence, the information is NOT GENUINE.
Date of resumption of academic activities will be announced accordingly.
The general public is enjoined to disregard the fake information.
