The Aare Bashorun Parakoyi of Ibadanland, Chief Dr. Tony Aletor, mni, JP has joined prominent Ibadan indigenes to mourn the late Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba. Dr. Saliu Akanmu Adetunji Ajeoguguniso 1 who joined his ancestors on Sunday, January 2, 2021 at a ripe age of 93.
In a release personally signed by the Aare Bashorun Parakoyi of Ibadanland, he described the First Class Monarch as a successful king who was a man of peace. According to him, “I was with Kabiyesi on October 16, 2021 when he installed me as the Aare Bashorun Parakoyi of Ibadanland. He was full of life and he received us well at his Oluyole private residence for the installation. He was a detribalised Nigerian who believed not only in the greatness of Ibadanland but the unity of Nigeria. He shall be sorely missed”.
Speaking further, the business mogul commiserated with Olori Rashidat Ololade Adetunji, children, the entire Adetunji royal family, His Excellency, Engr. Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde, the Olubadan-in-Council, High Chiefs, Mogajis and the entire Ibadan indigenes on the demise of the First Class monarch. He finally prayed for the repose of the soul of the revered monarch.
