The Conference of Iyalojas in Oyo State has dissociated itself from the activities of Princess Folasade Nurudeen aka Abeo Osa and warned her from parading herself has Iyaloja-General of Oyo State.
Speaking on behalf of the Conference in Ibadan on Monday after the monthly meeting of the Iyaloja-Generals from 33 Local Government Councils and 7 Geopolitical Zones in Oyo State, Alhaja Nimota Wahaab, Iyaloja-General of Oke Ogun described Princess Folasade Nurudeen as a monkey that sneaked into rams’ pen.
In a release signed on behalf of the conference by Alhaja Nimota Wahaab, the Iyalojas in Oyo State jointly warned Princess Folasade to stop interfering with the activities and matters relating to traders in Oyo State to avoid being declare as impersonator and subsequently charge to court.
“The conference of Iyalojas in Oyo State for the umpteenth time dissociate from all messages, release, broadcast, action and decision of one Princess Folasade Nurudeen, popularly called Abeo Osa, who self-christened herself as Iyaloja-General of Oyo State.
“We are redeclaring to the public, government and corporate organisations that Alhaja Saratu Aduke Konibaje remains Iyaloja-General of Oyo State in accordance with the 2021 pronouncement of the Coalition of Traders, Artisans, Market Men and Women in Oyo State after the ratification of the decision made by the conference of Iyalojas in Oyo State.
“Should there be any evidence to support her claim we challenge Abeo Osa to present such document to the public, otherwise she should steer clear traders and market issues in Oyo State. We also warn the media houses, bloggers and presenters to stop addressing her as Iyaloja-General of Oyo State; as we are prepared to join any organisation or body that go contrary to the above information in any suit file against her”, the release stated
Alhaja Nimota Wahaab added, “it is very easy to identify a monkey that sneaked into rams’ pen, because they don’t fall into same class, they exhibit different behaviours. Abeo Osa hasn’t any relationship with us, she was deceived by conspirators and saboteurs who promised to lobby and manipulate over 2 million self-made men and women in our various market to get her installed”.
