The Chairman of Senate Committee on Local Content and Senator representing Oyo Central Senatorial District in the red chamber, Oloye Teslim Folarin, has called on Nigerians to continue to pray for peace, unity and progress of the country.
In his Maolud Nabbiy message released by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity – Com. YSO Olaniyi, Oloye Folarin said it would be through renewed faith and optimistm that a we could stand together and build an indivisible and better Nigeria.
The three-term senator said the life and times of Holy Prophet Muhammed (SAW) were repleted with lessons of sacrifice, service and humility. He urged Muslim Ummah to be guided by the desire for a peaceful, united and better nation.
“The virtues of service and exemplary leadership, as demonstrated by the Holy Prophet Mohammed, should guide leaders to give their all in the overall interest of Nigerians” he said.
While wishing all Muslims a happy Maolud Nabiyy celebration, Folarin reiterated his pledge to continue to provide qualitative representation and meaningful dividends of democracy to his constituents.
