Poly Ibadan Workers Begin 3-Day Warning Strike Over Gov Makinde’s Failure New Minimum Wage

The Non-Academic Staff Union (NASU) of The Polytechnic Ibadan, on Monday, commenced a 3-day warning strike over non-implementation of the new minimum wage by the Oyo State Government.

The Chairman of the Union, Comrade Ibrahim Adekunle, during a peaceful protest on the campus said that the failure of Oyo state government to implement the new minimum wage for NASU has led to the death of many of its members. Hence, the decision to go on a 3-day warning strike, beginning today.
